#CheckTheTECH: Gizmos, Gadgets, and Studio Habits

Welcome to Check The TECHnique. This series is focused on one thing and one thing only.

Yes, YOU, the aspiring whatever. Whether you are a rapper, singer, producer, engineer, or baby audiophile we want to help you. I spend A LOT of time researching audio gear, production and mixing techniques, and listening to advice from some of the recording industry’s best and brightest. This means I’ve learned some things. Over the past year in particular I have vastly improved the quality of my recordings and my mixing methods and I’m the type that likes to spread the love.

Do I have all the answers? NO. So alot of these articles will feature videos, product featurettes, reviews and tutorials by other folks that I’ve found enlightening. I’ll also do my best to answer any questions that you might have directly. If there are any topics you feel I’ve just gotta write about or questions you need answered, leave it in the comments and I will do my best to address it ASAP.

As we get deeper into this thang I hope to bring you alot of exclusive interviews and content from some of my favorite artists, producers, and engineers as well as hopefully getting my hands on new tech early to give you my personal opinions and insights. The first full fledged feature will be coming in a few days and could be particularly important for all you future recording gurus. I suggest you stay tuned.
